The Voter Registration and Election Services department is responsible for the administration of the election process within Venango County.
Voter Registration records are maintained which serve as the basis for eligibility to vote in both the Primary and General Elections. Responsibilities and duties of this office include the following:
- Voter Registration applications are accepted and processed
- Information for elections candidates is provided and processed
- Polling places are established
- Training of election officers is conducted
The Voter Registration and Election Services staff serves as the Return Board that is responsible for certifying the final result of votes tallied to the Election Board.
